Jeremiah Baker has always been around the art world in some form or fashion. Both of his parents were professional artists. His father was a western sculptor and his mother poly-chromed the bronzes. From a very young age, Jeremiah was exposed to art shows and business trips with his family and has always loved being around the fine arts.
Despite growing up around the fine arts, his passion has always been with woodworking. Jeremiah is self-taught cabinet maker and has worked for several woodworking firms and interior designers in Oklahoma City. To put the final piece in the puzzle, he learned the art of gilding. Using these skills, he started carving and gilding custom fine art frames for galleries and art collectors. Along with custom frames, he also restores antique frames and gilded furniture pieces.
With Baker Frame Studio, Jeremiah is bringing back the art of the frame to artists, galleries, and interior designers with an expanded range of styles from which to choose. To help you with your selection, we classify our frames in three style galleries. In the Classics Revisited Gallery, you will find reproductions of frames selected from antique representations that give your artwork a unique, but traditional look. In the Contemporary American Gallery, you will find original designs, some with neoclassical elements and some with clean modern lines. Finally, in the Western Inspirations Gallery, you will find a line of frames representing both historical and modern designs and reflecting a relaxed, southwest theme.
As you browse though the catalog, you will find many frame styles to help you surround your inspiration.
